This ingredients were used to scent beauty products for the hair (Tamas and Rajas) and clothes (the 4 Bodies). Vãtsyãyana recommends that a gentlemen should go to the reception room elegantly dressed. Elegance is the quality of clothes and jewel. Bharata gives some indications in his Nãtya Shãstra. An elegant man wears four kind of clothes made from:

Varahamihira describes thirteen kinds of precious stone The stones are:
