The World Cycle can be represented either by Swastika or by Kalpa Tree. An hour has 4 quarters: first quarter, second quarter, third quarter and fourth quarter. A day has 4 parts: morning, afternoon, evening and night. A year has 4 seasons: spring, summer, fall and winter. A World cycle (kalpa=5000 years) has 4 ages; Golden age, Silver age, Copper age and Iron age.

The first 2500 years or the first half of the tree trunk represents Heaven (Golden and Silver Ages) on this earth and the last 2500 years or the second half of the tree trunk with branches and leaves represent Hell (Copper and Iron Ages) on this earth.
