Our happiness has peaks from time to time. Spiritual growth is directed towards stabalizing these peaks and make them your new base camp. It is like climbing the Mount Everest. You move from base camp to higher camps. Your mind can be blessed with very high vibrational energy. As a result you enjoy a couple of days very high peaks of joy and love. Afterwards your base camp will be slightly higher. In some cases you feel very emotional - angry, attached, proud, insecure or jaleous - for a couple of days. After this emotional period you will feel the joy and love. The stronger the empowerment the stronger the love and joy or the emotions and the longer they will last.

In other words Gurus can bless your mind by means of ritual objects, by putting hands on your body or head to boost your spiritual growth. In most cases they will not explain you the specifics. They share the results with you. It is like your right brain surrenders totaly to the universe and you let the things happen without control by your self. It takes both courage and faith to allow this to happen. But more important it takes love for the Guru to make the empowerment strong. The more you open the more you receive. And at this point we might have adressed the limitation of this approach.
